DIOL FOUR CREAM is used to lighten the dark patches of skin also called hyperpigmentation, melasma,liver spots, age spots, freckles caused by pregnancy, birth control pills, hormone medicine, or injury to the skin.This medicine works by blocking the process in the skin that leads to discoloration. DIOL FOUR CREAM is a combination of medicines: Hydroquinone, Tretinoin, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Ferulic Acid,Vit. E, Mometasone,Licorice Extract & Papaya Enzyme by clinical formulations with integrity which treats melasma (dark spots on skin). DIOL FOUR CREAM is a synergistic approach to combat Melasma. All agents are having de-pigmenting effects and anti-inflammatory action.

Directions
External use only.
Before use,Read and follow all directions on carton and leaflet. If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist to clarify the parts don't understand. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area. Should be applied evenly to the affected area, and massaged gently till the cream is fully absorbed. Result will be best if, DIOL FOUR CREAM is being getting applied during night time (once daily at night at least 30 minutes before bedtime). DIOL FOUR CREAM is used for the short-term treatment of mild to moderate melasma. It helps reduce scars, marks, blemishes, and dark circles under the eyes. Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same times each day. It should always be used along with sun-avoidance measures, like using sunscreens and wearing protective clothing. Do not apply on broken or infected areas of skin. Discontinue use if you experience irritation or allergy and consult your doctor. Application of this cream should be kept away from the eyes, nose or angles of the mouth, because the mucosa is much more sensitive than the skin to the irritant effect. Allergic contact dermatitis may occur. If the medication is applied excessively, marked redness, peeling or discomfort may occur. Initial improvement may be seen in just 2 weeks, full results generally appear after 2-3 months of regular use. Do not use it for longer than 6-8 weeks without consulting your doctor.
Side Effects
Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness)
Hyper sensitivity to any Ingredients of DIOL FOUR CREAM. Less serious side effects may include mild burning, stinging, itching, redness, Local irritation, dryness, pruritus or irritation of treated skin. If your doctor has prescribed this medication, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects. Mild burning, stinging, redness, and dryness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
STOP USING DIOL FOUR CREAM and tell your doctor right away if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: blistering, skin cracking, blue-black darkening of the skin. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing. This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Avoid the following: Do not use on skin that is sunburned, wind-burned, dry, chapped, or irritated, or on an open wound. Avoid using skin products that can cause irritation, such as harsh soaps, shampoos, or skin cleansers, hair coloring or permanent chemicals, hair removers or waxes, or skin products with alcohol, spices, astringents, or lime.
Warnings
DIOL FOUR CREAM should not be used during day time. You should also be vigilant about wearing sunscreen every day, rain or shine, when you use DIOL FOUR CREAM, as UV rays can exacerbate the spots you're trying to get rid of. Clearly, Hydroquinone is no joke. Be safe out there.
Before using hydroquinone, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or have any other allergies. Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: asthma, other skin conditions (e.g., eczema, psoriasis). Harmful if used when pregnant or breast-feeding. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor. Unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
